I've seen that! Very luxurious! I personally want a series of Ewok houses up in the trees!

A house on a mountain top. Zombies can't climb. (I hope)

If you can climb up there, then so can they. But it would be more remote and away from the epicenters of mass destruction that the cities will be.
Re: Zombie proof houses on the market now
I think I would become part monkey and do the treehouse thing. I've never seen any movie where zombies can climb trees so would hope real life would be similar.
Re: Zombie proof houses on the market now
I think being up in the air, or out on a body of water are the safest options. An island would be great, as long as it was big enough to sustain gardens and some kind of animals, and didn't constantly get raided by pirates, and if you were capable of getting rid of all of the zombies, if there was a presence. The main issue with an island is everyone else is going to want to live there too. Going to be hard to defend, but perhaps a boat could work? It would be risky though every time you went ashore to re-up supplies. But I think you'd have that same problem with a tree house too, you eventually have got to come down in order to hunt, or scavenge things.

I think tree house, island, boat, or the link to the personal Fort Knox shown on here would definately be better than a trailer park.

True! There's so many choices, and in all probability, a nomadic existence would probably be the only real option. At least in the beginning.
